Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm (28 hours per week dedicated to Grow Local Program, 10 hours per week dedicated to Memberships)

Our Grow Local Program aims to enhance the capabilities and capacity of businesses, promote collaboration, and drive prosperity. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Grow Local Program Manager / Memberships officer to join our team and lead the successful delivery of this impactful initiative.

The Program Manager will oversee the program’s objectives, including building local industry, enhancing the capacity of businesses, identifying gaps in business capability, and promoting the program to internal and external stakeholder, and KDCCI members


  • Manage and deliver the Grow Local program, ensuring its successful execution.
  • Build and nurture relationships with local team members and contributing partners.
  • Coordinate and oversee all activities, workshops, and events.
  • Develop and manage delivery schedules for events and workshops.
  • Secure high-quality presenters for relevant workshops.
  • Ensure effective communication with local businesses, contributing partners, and stakeholders as per the Communication Plan.
  • Maintain and update the Grow Local events calendar.
  • Identify and engage with local businesses to raise awareness of the program and its initiatives.
  • Facilitate connections between local businesses for mentorship and collaboration.
  • Prepare statistical and informational reports for quarterly reporting.
  • Secure local media opportunities and coverage.
  • Develop supportive materials aligned with program objectives.
  • Maintain a register of business support services available in Karratha and the broader Pilbara region.
  • Undertake day-to-day financial administration for program budgets, monitoring task completion within allocated resources.

Stakeholder/ Membership Engagement:

  • Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, including contributing partners and business service providers.
  • Regularly engage with stakeholders and manage relationships effectively.
  • Regularly engage with Members, in line with the strategic plan and KPIs set
  • Cultivate relationships with Chambers of Commerce in the broader Pilbara 

Qualifications/ Licenses / Requirements:

  • Minimum Year 12 education, tertiary education in a relevant field highly regarded.
  • Unrestricted WA Driver’s License.
  • Police Clearance required (not older than 6 months).

  • Proven experience in an office management role, showcasing a positive, motivated, confident, and can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid administration and business support skills, including organization, thoroughness, and attention to detail
