In celebration of International Women’s Day 2024, the Karratha & Districts Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KDCCI) is proud to host “Count Her In: Accelerating Gender Equality Through Economic Empowerment” on 8 March. Featuring powerhouse speakers Christina Matthews, Tangiora Hinaki, and Nicole Lockwood, the event will spotlight the achievements of women in leadership while addressing ongoing challenges in economic inclusion. With inspiring stories and strategic insights, this event calls on the community to take action in driving gender equality across all sectors.

The Karratha & Districts Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KDCCI) hosted the Diamond Roundtable on 29 November 2023 at the Red Earth Arts Precinct, bringing together government, industry, and local stakeholders to address Karratha’s housing challenges. The event featured a strategic housing overview by City of Karratha’s George Wilkinson and collaborative workshops aimed at unlocking solutions such as land supply, student and senior accommodation, and financial barriers. The event marked a key milestone in KDCCI’s ongoing efforts to drive coordinated, sustainable responses to the region’s housing needs.
