Our People

Our Board Members are a dedicated group of volunteers who bring diverse experience, local knowledge and strong leadership to KDCCI. Made up of local business leaders, community advocates and regional change-makers, the Board provides strategic direction and governance to ensure KDCCI operates with transparency, accountability and long-term sustainability.

The Board plays an important role in guiding KDCCI’s work to support local enterprise, encourage collaboration, advocate for regional priorities and contribute to positive economic and community outcomes across the Pilbara. Their leadership helps ensure our programs, partnerships and initiatives align with the needs of businesses, industry and the broader community.

Our Team

The KDCCI team is a passionate group of professionals dedicated to supporting a strong, connected and resilient Pilbara business community. Led by Chief Executive Officer, Sarah Whelan, the team delivers programs, events, services and initiatives that strengthen local businesses, build capability, encourage collaboration and support regional economic development.

Rachelle Sauddin, Corporate Services Officer, supports the smooth operation of KDCCI through administration, systems, communications and organisational support. Carly Neuendorf, Grow Local Program Manager, works with local businesses through one-on-one coaching, workshops and practical development support. Brid Quinn, Events Coordinator, brings the business community together through engaging events and networking opportunities. Chene Sexton, Membership Coordinator, supports member engagement and helps businesses connect with KDCCI’s services and programs. Sapphire McIntosh, Engagement Trainee, supports KDCCI programs, events and stakeholder engagement activities while developing skills and experience across the Chamber.

Together, the KDCCI team works to connect businesses, support capability, promote local enterprise and contribute to a stronger, more sustainable Pilbara.
