The Working Together Program is an initiative by the Karratha & Districts Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KDCCI) in partnership with various organisations in Karratha and its districts. It aims to create new opportunities for Aboriginal people, particularly youth in Roebourne. The program connects Indigenous job-seekers with small and medium-sized enterprises, bridging the gap between emerging talent and local employers.
This job-seeker-led program allows participants to express their preferred industry or profession, and KDCCI leverages its extensive network to connect them with the right opportunities.
Additionally, the program supports employers by offering retention strategies such as cultural awareness training, mentoring, and guidance on financial incentives for workforce development.
If you’re interested in hiring through the Working Together Program, contact us with your availability and details. We’ll arrange an initial meeting to discuss the program further.
There are usually two Working Together events each year. Check out our events calendar for more details.
